Nido is a private video messaging app for small children and their families. It is a completely closed family network, controlled and administered by the parents and where all the messages are visible by everybody. It allows kids to record and view videos, it automatically syncs them across the connected devices and it never lets anybody on the outside peek inside the network. The videos are stored either in iCloud or in your Dropbox account and nowhere else - ever.

Nido is:
* SAFE: through it your children will never communicate with anyone that doesnt belong to the network you explicitly created (e.g. shares your iCloud account or has an explicit access to your Dropbox account) They will never see any material from anyone else (e.g. no ads, no external messages, etc.)

* EASY: there is nothing to do but open the app and start recording messages and everybody in the family will be able to see them. And the same goes for playing - all the messages are shared with everybody, just like you do in a family.

* DIRECT: there is no sending process, it just works across all the connected devices and all the communication is encrypted.

* CLEAN: your children will never be exposed to ads or in-app purchases (and the one in-app purchase that does exist is behind a "parent wall")

Nido:
+ Records and shows videos recorded by others in your family
+ Seamlessly syncs with your iCloud or your Dropbox account
+ Saves videos to Photos either on demand or automatically
+ Automatically saves all videos on both recording and downloading to apps Document directory so that they can be backed up with iTunes

Nido *DOESNT* do:
- Ads bombardment of your children
- Shady in-app purchases
- Open social networking
- Tracking and other collection of identifiable information
- Playing hostages with your data

Or to put it in short, Nido is what I would want my kids to use and feel safe and I wouldnt offer anything less for other peoples children.
